Legal Fees
One of the first questions clients ask us is regarding the fees they must pay for their legal issues. This question is a valid concern since most clients are not informed about the legal complexity of their case. We can ease the concern by providing reasonable estimates for what can be expected for the client's specific case. However, like many things in life, it is impossible to know for sure the final cost of a case.
Every case is different and we focus on customizing our representation to your needs. The level of customization depends on the complexity of the case and the strategy that we use to resolve it.
In family litigation, there are a number of factors that could cause delays and costs to a case. We mitigate these situations by formulating a strategic plan with you during the initial consultation.
Initial Consultation - $200
We genuinely believe that the Initial Consultation is the essential aspect of any legal case. During the appointment, you can expect to meet an attorney for up to an hour. The attorney will go over the following information.
-
Identify: No two situations are alike. We actively listen to your concerns, goals, and desired outcomes to identify the main legal issues.
-
Educate: We carefully evaluate the case details and discuss the Georgia laws that may apply to your specific case. We review the common issues that might come up with similar cases.
-
Strategic Planning: We go over the logical strategic plans from engagement to potential outcomes. Inform you on what to expect, time frames, estimated cost, and any actionable items
-
Evaluation: We schedule the next follow-up and discuss how we will keep you updated about the case.

Hourly Fee - $275 per hour
This type of fee is the most commonly used in family law. Depending on the complexity of your case, the cost for each case will vary. At Natalie Phan Law, we strive to provide the highest level of service while focusing on keeping your costs low and your results high.
Please note, Natalie Phan Law has a retainer of $5,000. A retainer is an upfront deposit paid by the client in exchange for representation. The funds will be billed against as the attorney work on your case. In some cases, additional payments will be required as the balance of the deposited amount is below a set amount.
We will periodically communicate with you on the status of your case and the remaining balance of the retainer. This transparency will allow you to have a better expectation of the timeline and cost for your case.
